The room was spacious with a large bed and a TV with Netflix. The open planned bathroom was clean and spacious. The hostess was friendly and provided recommendations for places to eat and visit. The breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. The hosts were helpful and gave suggestions for places to see in the area. The location was peaceful and quiet. The guest house was conveniently located near the N1 and main road to Wellington and Franschhoek. The procedures for entering and exiting the property were excellent with a high level of security. The room and bathroom facilities were outstanding and toiletries were provided. The manager was welcoming and always available to ensure a problem-free stay. The lodge was well-equipped and had a clean pool. The breakfast included grandma's pancakes and was fresh.

She went above and beyond to recommend and book a restaurant and hairdressers for me, both of which turned out to be perfect choices. The room was incredibly comfortable, and I enjoyed starting my day with a delicious breakfast. The pool was a great addition, especially after a day of wine tasting. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and great accommodations.

We stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel for one night and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for us, as it was centrally located and allowed us to easily visit nearby vineyards and attractions such as Babylonstoren and mountain hikes. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with amenities such as ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning. We also loved the outdoor areas, including the beautiful garden with a swimming pool and barbecue facilities. the hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

The only downside we could think of is that you would need a car to get around, as it is not within walking distance of the town. However, we would highly recommend this hotel to families as it offers a great location, excellent service, and a range of amenities.

The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, even recommending the amazing Noops restaurant. The lodge is also conveniently located for visiting Nederburg for wine tasting and exploring the Paarl wine-route. I highly recommend Nuwerus Lodge for a high-end and reasonably priced stay in Paarl.

That a car is needed to fully enjoy the area. the layout of the bathroom, with the toilet not fully enclosed from floor to ceiling, may not provide the highest level of comfort for some guests sharing a room.
